1. Who we are

This policy explains how Grant Ardill, trading as GGA Designs, Sydney, Australia ("GGA Designs", "we", "us") handles personal information in connection with ggadesigns.com. We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

2. What we collect

Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you choose to write, including any attachments.

Technical information. Like almost every website, the server that hosts this site automatically records basic request information, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs are used to keep the website running and secure.

This website does not use cookies, does not run analytics or advertising scripts, does not include embedded social-media trackers, and has no sign-up or contact forms.

3. Third-party services that load with the website

To display correctly, pages on this website load a small number of resources from third-party providers. When your browser fetches them, those providers receive your IP address and standard browser information, and handle it under their own privacy policies:

• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com), for the Inter typeface
• jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net), for the Tailwind CSS styling library
• Transparent Textures (transparenttextures.com), for a decorative background pattern on the home page

Links to social-media profiles only contact those services if you choose to click them.

4. How we use information

We use the information described above only to reply to your messages, to keep the website secure and working, and to meet legal obligations. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell, rent or trade personal information.

5. Disclosure

We only disclose personal information to service providers who help run the website or our email, such as hosting and email providers, where required by law, or with your consent. Some of these providers may store data outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to use providers with appropriate privacy and security protections.

6. Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Emails are kept for as long as they are needed to deal with your enquiry and for our reasonable record-keeping, then deleted. Server logs are kept for a limited period.

7. Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing grant@ggadesigns.com. We will respond within a reasonable time, normally within 30 days.

If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

8. Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, for example because the website adds a new feature or service, the updated version will be published here with a new "last updated" date.
