DesktopAnimals is a lightweight, 64-bit C++20 program built directly on the Win32 API. No bulky browser engines—just pure, efficient native performance.
Connected Habitat
Win32 monitor enumeration turns your displays into one habitat. Animals cross boundaries, respect gaps, and land on visible application windows.
Interactive Actors
They walk, rest, tumble, and jump. Drag, throw, remove, or drop them. Some species jump obstacles, charge Gates, or interact socially.
Efficient Rendering
Uses GDI device contexts and Windows Imaging Component to decode PNGs. Alpha composition provides crisp, transparent animations.
